Flats mon amour

Nothing to say against the heels, wedges or plateau: I'm a big fan of high-heeled shoes. But my love for flat shoes, whatever they are, remains unchanged. The biggest fashion brands, for this fall/winter, we offer different shapes and styles so that the flat shoes become a good variant to the heels. Here are some models that can not miss in our shoe racks:
- the flats: they are comfortable and chic. Repetto proposes in black, a simple version but still very present. Valentino Garavani uses studs, taking the fashion of the moment. Tweed, another trend of this season, are the flats Pretty Ballerinas, while Roger Vivier offers flats ton-on-ton and iconic buckle.

- the laces: have that masculine touch that appeals to all of us. There are various colors, with or without laces or with classical swallow decoration. Max & Co. offers the very bright colors to take a more cheerful this winter. Doctor Martens, however, is modeled tomboy for those of us who like to be fashionable but without overdoing it. Licia Florio offers without laces and bicolor version.

- the slippers: the uninitiated call them slippers, however are an excellent alternative to the flats. There are all kinds, of all colors and all kinds of applications. Miu Miu ,for her slippers, use the decorated silk with embroidery and a small heels embellished with applications, while those of Valentino are bright and decorated with crystals, while those of Mango Touch are black velvet with embroidery on the toe.

- the moccasins: the models of this season are really rock and don't remember who brought some of our old aunt. There are studs or buckles such as those offering Studio Pollini or Zara, glossy and bright colors such as Jil Sander and with fringes and tassels such as Church's and Geox.

the boots: must of this season, to be worn with pants or skirts. Beautiful those of Vanessa Bruno Athé with buckle and studs or those with effect of snake of Pierre Ardy. Balenciaga is the basic with black boot that recalls the Swinging London as well as those with Gucci, sideways, an elastic band ton-on-ton. Finally, Kenzo, for his boots, refers to the Beatles's style.

- the sneakers: comfortable and still fashionable, especially this year when patios are sneakers "modified" as those with internal wedge launched by Isabel Marant. Almost all brands have launched this new brand among the prettiest are those Aldo's red or Margiela's white. Bimba&Lola offer the sneakers in eastern version with decor reminiscent of Japan; Sonia Rykiel leaves the wedge on the outside and Gucci use the total gold.

And you what do you prefer?

  1. I absolutely love(!) heels but let's face it - it's impossible to run around all day wearing them. So I really love flats as well. And I think they can be as beautiful and sexy as heels ;) Great post!

  7. I love all the different options for flats right now. My favourites are the boots, but also love the sneakers and the loafers so much. Ballerinas have always been my go-to when I can't be bothered with heels. Sometime feet just need a rest!

  10. I love the green ones with buckles but I always need a good pair of neutral ones as well! Sneakers are great too, but I can't wear them to work, so they are my weekend ensemble :)
